Dr. Rakowsky graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1982 and received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. He has also completed postgraduate courses in cosmetic restorative dentistry in 2000 at the Las Vegas Institute, where he continues to study advanced techniques. He also completed a course in Invisalign Orthodontic treatment (invisible braces).

Dr. Rakowsky is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and a graduate of the Pankey Institute.
